Q3 has successfully passed the SCAMPI Level 3 assessment and is certified for CMMI Level 3 (Capability Maturity Model Integration). Quality frameworks/models like CMMI & ISO are used as benchmarks to establish mature processes and help the organization instill a structured approach towards building reliable software systems. These benchmarks have helped Q3 in driving process improvement initiatives that are aligned with business objectives. Q3’s Quality Management System (QMS) which covers the Process Areas related to Project Management, Engineering Processes, Customer Relationship Management, Risk Management and Process Management at the organization level provide Q3 a very good guidance plan to implement industry standard best practices and processes at the organization level. The SEPG (Software Engineering Process Group), SQA (Software Quality Assurance) Group, Metric Council and Functional Area Representatives coordinate relevant activities to see that the following is achieved on a consistent basis across the organization –

  • A Process Improvement Road Map is developed
  • Process Improvement Training at the organizational level is conducted
  • Improvements in each of the process areas is institutionalized
  • Process & baseline audits are regularly performed and a gap analysis is done
  • Quarterly Metric Baseline Reports are published and project performance analyzed

 

Q3 deploys industry standard tools like Microsoft Sharepoint for project management & task monitoring, risk & issue tracking, document management and metric gathering for effective and speedy analysis of project performance which in turn provides detailed insights into base metrics like cost, schedule and effort.

Q3 is certified for ISO 9001:2008 for the entire scope of process management for analysis, design, development, testing, service delivery, relevant administrative & support processes, quality planning, monitoring & measurement of processes & products, processes to resolve customer complaints, corrective/preventive actions and drive continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Internal audits are performed every quarter by a competent group of trained process auditors to ensure continuing compliance to our internal QMS requirements and ISO 9001:2008 standards. DQS Certification India Private Limited, the 5th largest Certification and Inspection Organization of the world, performs yearly audits to ensure compliance to ISO 9001:2008 standards.
