Thousands of new drugs are being researched to treat and cure the diseases that affect both humans and animals. However, it takes years and years for a drug to travel from the research lab to the patient. Before reaching for the market consumption, many trials are conducted during clinical development that generates thousands of pieces of data. Thus, it is required to keep track of all the improvements, change in drug doses and their response on animals as well as humans.
Being one of the leading life sciences companies, the client had several testing and development environments for their upstream and downstream systems. Thus, it was needed to identify the right testing tools and testing processes. The challenge was to identify the right processes and improve the quality into the application.
Q3 addressed the client’s product and evaluated the testing processes to identify the areas of improvement. Based on that, the testing team at Q3 prepared the test plans and the test strategy documents to streamline the QA and QC process. In addition, Q3 started to write test cases of all complex scenarios with the help of requirement documents and executed the test cases on different platforms. Q3 used JIRA for test case management and bug tracking.
By our continuous manual effort on each of the frequent releases, we have improved the quality of application and released bug free applications to our end user.
