    The client is a Leading Global Transport Services provider.

    Challenge

    The client wanted an Android application that can read users’ ticket information from Smart Cards. The expectation was to design the application in such a manner that the staffs can use it to check the passenger’s ticket information anytime, anywhere via their scanning devices.

    Solution

    • Q3 Team analyzed the Client’s requirement & developed a “Smart Card Reader”, an Android based application using NFC technology.
    • This application allows the users to read & view card, ticket, & entitlement details. It is also capable of reading & scanning ITSO specific Smart Cards.
    • The application can displays various details about the card such as: Card Number, Card Status, Issuer Name, Expiry Date, Number of tickets purchased & many other details.
    • Q3 team also developed a website using Java to store the scanned information.
    • It is also equipped with user guide to help them with steps of scanning tickets.
